The current version of MFG BI includes reports for manufacturing, inventory control and lot tracking. I can customize these reports to fit your companies exact needs, or anyone at your company that has experience using a report designer can customize the reports. These reports can also be duplicated, to save time when creating new reports.

The reports included with MFG BI were designed with the free, open source iReport designer. iReport is the most popular, open source report designer. iReport includes similar features that are found in Crystal Reports.

Manufacturing and Work Orders

There are two types of work order reports included. One that supports fielded information for each work order and one that supports sequences of work for each work order. The sequences of work format is more often found in larger ERP type manufacturing systems.

Similar to work orders, there are two types of work in process scheduling reports included. One that supports fielded information for each work order and one that supports sequences of work for each work order. The sequences of work format are line items that are summarized on the scheduling report.

The scheduling reports also include a gantt chart that shows timelines of work in process and a progress bar that shows the percent of work completed on each work order.

The Inventory_negitive-min-balance (included on the Inventory Edit window there is a setting for the "Minimum Quantity On Hand". This report subtracts the Minimum Quantity On Hand from the actual Quantity On Hand, to generate a report of inventory items that need to be purchased or manufactured)

The Lot Reports includes only one report at this time, but could be a very important report to any company that requires lot tracking. The Lot_History report tracks a lot's origin and where the lot was used.

- From Purchase Orders (origin supplier and item details for a lot)
- From Jobs (manufactured origin details for a lot)
- Used On BOMs (job where used details for a lot)
- Used On Sales Orders (sold to customer and item details for a lot)
